One of my favorite quotes by Gabriela Mistral says:
‘Many things we need can wait. The child cannot. Now is the time his bones are formed, his mind developed. To him we cannot say tomorrow, his name is today.’
Many activities demanding our attention if not well prioritized can distract us from performing excellently as a parent. Most of those activities including our friends, clothes, wigs, etc can wait but the child really can’t.

There is a particular time appropriate for a child to receive certain instructions and imbibe them after which it might be difficult to teach and imbibe and will therefore not profit him/her again. Time is critical and children cannot wait until when we will be available because they are growing every day. They need to be attended to now.

Delays in instilling necessary training in a child at every stage of life can lead to confusion, distortion, and disruption in his/her development. Now is therefore very important in the life of a child. Now is the time to pay attention to every aspect of their lives, their spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and mental health. The stage of childhood will not be forever; therefore It’s better to strike while the iron is hot. Do what you have to do at the right time and don’t forget the right time is now.
Show interest in your children now. Train, Teach, Instruct, Love, Encourage and Celebrate them now.
